Phobias

Phobias are strong and irrational fears of specific things, places, or situations, like heights(Acrophobia), spiders(Arachnophobia), confined spaces(Claustrophobia), death(Thanatophobia) or crowded spaces(Agoraphobia). Even if the fear seems unreasonable, it can cause intense anxiety, panic, or avoidance. Phobias can affect daily life and make certain activities difficult. They are treatable with therapy, gradual exposure, and relaxation techniques, helping people manage their fears and regain confidence.

Eg. A person with a phobia of heights may feel very scared and dizzy when standing on a tall building, even if they are safe.
